Pakistan is an agricultural country where 22.1 million hectors are effectively used for producing summer and winter crops of different types. Pakistan is among the top ten producers of wheat, rice, cotton, sugarcane, mango, dates and mandrines. Agro-Food exports contributes 17% to the national exports of Pakistan. The main products exported are rice, meat, fruits & vegetables, tobacco, spices and sea food. There is a well-established agricultural based industry that produces hundreds of value added products for local consumption as well as exports.
Trade Development Authority of Pakistan is the premier trade promotion organization, mandated to promote the product and services of the country in the international market. It also organizes international and country specific trade fairs for exportable products and services. TDAP provides a platform to importers and exporters for setting up meetings, seminars and information exchange events both physically and virtually.
